Track the links inside your ad so you know when someone clicks through.

It's one thing to have your ad go live and another thing to actually have people respond the way you want.

Classified ads are a great way to drive people to visit your website so putting your website link in your ad is a no-brainer.

But if you don't track the clickthroughs, how will you know if the messaging and call-to-action is effective?

How will you know if people are actually interested in your product or offer?

Well, the answer is to track every link inside your ad so you know when someone actually clicks on them.

Create a click tracker as shown below:


Copy and paste the html code, go to your ad posting site and paste the code into your ad description.


Once your ad goes live, you can start reviewing the reports for ad view and click-through activities.

You will know the number of times your ad is opened and the number of clickthroughs to your website and measure the conversion rate or click-through-rate (CTR). Ads with high CTR numbers indicate high interest and effectiveness. And it means the ad has done its job. Now it's time for your website to do the selling.

You will notice the html code of the click tracker also includes a tracking pixel. This is so you can measure the click-through-rate (CTR) of your ads. So you don't need to include a separate tracking pixel in your ad if you already have the click tracker installed.
